Sing with freedom, confidence, and clarity — without strain or guesswork
Adult-focused vocal training that helps you understand your voice and trust it. Available online and in Auckland, NZ.
Why this approach works for adult singers
Built specifically for adult voices
Adult singers arrive with a fully developed vocal instrument, established habits, and a lifetime of experience. This work is designed for that reality — not adapted from child-based teaching methods.
Faster progress through adult learning principles
Instead of imitation-only exercises, lessons combine somatic awareness, sensation-based learning, clear scientific explanation, and ongoing feedback. Adults don’t just “do” — they understand, feel, and integrate skills more efficiently.
Release tension and unlearn unhelpful patterns
Years of compensations, misuse, and vocal tension can be safely unwound. The focus is on coordination and function, allowing the voice to become easier, healthier, and more reliable over time.
A healthy, expressive, and intuitive voice
As technique stabilises, singers gain confidence and freedom — shifting attention from control and self-doubt to musical expression, interpretation, and artistry.
Personalised, collaborative lessons
No two adult voices are the same. Lessons are co-created around your voice, goals, and history — not forced into a rigid system or one-size-fits-all method.
Skills that last beyond the lesson
You leave with tools you can apply independently, so progress continues between sessions and compounds over time.

If you are currently experiencing a diagnosed vocal pathology (such as nodules, polyps, or ongoing medical voice issues), you will be expected to work in parallel with a qualified voice therapist or medical professional. Vocal training and voice therapy serve different roles, and this work does not replace clinical care.

“Jorgelina is an awesome singing teacher! Super knowledgeable, very engaged and 100% passionate. She's helped me a lot. Her methods and techniques feel organic and natural. She moves at your pace and is super supportive about you achieving your singing goals. Would recommend her to anyone with a vagus nerve (that’s everyone btw!).”
